Blackwood Griffins cross over for tries six times on the road to Chepstow RFC 2nd XV in a mid-season friendly.
The Griffins crossed through Laen Williams, Iestyn Hurn, Jay Owen, Max Drinkwater-James, Lewis Cardwell and Ethan Thomas to grab their second win of the season.
It was the hosts who grabbed an early lead with just seven minutes on the clock, catching the Griffins napping out wide.
It would take the Griffins just shy of twenty minutes on the clock before they notched their first score.
Hurn slinging a pass wide to winger Williams, who raced to the corner to bring the Griffins level.
The game would hang in the balance, with both sides having chances but the Griffins looking more comfortable.
Hurn then went from provider to try scorer when he placed a kick through before holding off his defenders to touchdown the loose ball to give his side a well-deserved lead.
Hurn would once again be at the focal point of the Griffins' attack when he linked up well with winger Owen, who punched it to the try line to move the visitors further clear of Chepstow come half-time.
Five minutes on the clock in the second half and the Griffins were over again when Cardwell boulder his way over the line before riggling the ball free to touchdown to put the game past the home side.
Drinkwater-James would then force his way over to further put the game to bed when the centre picked up off the back of a ruck before driving over the whitewash.
Thomas would then score off the back of a great display from the Griffins' backline, moving the ball fantastically before finding Thomas in space, who danced his way to the uprights and closed out the game with the best try of the bunch.
