Paul Fletcher

Paul Fletcher
“Fletch”

Blackwood RFC are saddened by the passing of former player Paul Fletcher.
Paul’s career started in the early 1980’s with Blackwood, in which he played over 230 senior games as a second rower, he scored eleven tries and had one conversion in his playing days at Blackwood. The one conversion came in the last game of the Centenary Season against Glyn Neath on the 29th April 1989 which we won 52-0 His good friend Neil Coles a colleague in the second row also put over a conversion in the same game. Paul had a lot of friends in and out of Rugby, he was an honest, hard player always giving his all.
Our condolences go out to Paul’s family.
We will be raising a glass or two in your memory here at BRFC
