Fixture

WRU plate action this week, and due to standing water on the field at Glan Yr Afon the tie was transferred to the 3G surface at Blackwood comprehensive. Not the flowing rugby we have enjoyed from our games so far, but none the less a good performance against a Kidwelly side who never gave up and were never out of the game. The last ten minute of the game seen us defend with thirteen men as a red card, followed by a yellow card put the pressure on us. That’s another round further in the plate, lets see who we draw next? 
It was also nice to see Blackwood players in the more traditional triband jersey of Red, Black & Amber, a big thankyou to all our sponsors.
There were a few candidates for the Worthington Man of The Match, but it was awarded to Tom Moss, well done Tom well deserved despite having “Blue Line” fever! Which also made him the recipient of “The Dick of The Day Award”. Back to League action next week, when we entertain Croesyceiliog hopefully at Glan Yr Afon Park.
